Epic Fail

4 11 2012

When you’re having a downer day, what do you do? There are days that we
wish didn’t exist. The days that I’m referring to are the ones where
nothing seems to be going right. The type of day where work is dragging
on, you can’t focus and a bird goes out of its way to crap on your
shoulder.

People have different ways of dealing with “bad days.” Some go to the
gym, others go for a drive. I’ve given both options a try, and I’ve
found out that surfing the internet can cure me of the “bad day blues.”

When I experience something like this I tell myself that tomorrow is
going to be a brighter day, and watch epic fail videos on Youtube. I
know that one of the rules that I was taught as a child, was to not
laugh at other people’s misfortunes, but come on, sometimes I can’t help
it. It’s not my fault that people act like idiots and a cameraman is
always standing by to capture the moments on camera. If I’m not in the
mood for watching videos cluttered up with advertisements, I
occasionally check out www.fmylife.com and read up other people’s misfortunate
events. You can call me a horrible person for this, but to me it just
reinforces the fact that no matter how bad my day is going, there’s
always another person having it worse off than myself.

Don’t believe that these tricks will work to get you out of your downer
mood? Give it a shot sometime and post your experience sometime in the
comment section.

Just came across another site to check out. It’s http://www.epicfail.com/ and I think that it’s pretty good to make the “bad day blues” go away.
